i had this experience,although in reverse.i was asked by a swiss business contact to arrange female company for hi.she turned up on time,and he did not appear,because of plane delays.thus i entertained the lady to dinner,ensured that she was paid her fee,and put her up in the same hotel room,where she was very coy,and we did not sleep together.in the morning we breakfasted together and i took the train with her back to london.she told me that she had been very tired the night before and we just looked at each other,on the short train journey.
she had-apparently-tried to contact me a few times afterwards,got divorced,remarried etc,and then we bumped into each other,some years later,on a plane in north america.i was also divorced at this time,and we agreed to keep in touch.we did,eventually,sleep with each other 16 years after we first met,and had a relationship for 4 years.however,her previous life made things difficult for both of us.she was very jealous,even of ladies in my own office,although she expected to be able to show herself off and be flirted with,when she needed a shot of morale boosting.
she had many excellent qualities,but-alas-a long term relationship and marriage,does not seem possible
