MR_HOFFY (6 posts) 23-Feb-01, 01:36 AM (PDT) "TS/TV/She-male clarification" Can someone clarify the definitions of She-male, TV, TS. It appears that a She-male is a guy who want to have the femine look but still carry a dick. The male usually get implants and other changes made to appear like a woman but still desires to carry some characteristics of a man but dresses like a woman. How is a TV or She-male different? A TS wants to be woman in every way, Hormone shots, implants. Pre-op means that she still retains a dick, but maybe not really functional because of mindset or hormonse shots. "RE: TS/TV/She-male clarification" TV refers to crossdressers; they generally will identify as "a guy in women's clothes" and not "a woman trapped in a guy's body" TS is short for transsexual, and in general means that they identify as more female than male. "Pre-op" means that they have not yet had their male bits removed. "Post-op" means they have. "Shemale" generally refers to a pre-op TS, but can also refer to TV. Also, not all TS "ladies" necessarily want to be 100% female; some may well actually prefer being "in between" and degrees of functionality, amount of use of hormones, etc varies greatly.   Remove | Alert Edit | Reply | Reply With Quote | Top
