""accepting all major credit cards""
It seems as though the providers who accept "all major credit cards" are from agencies, and tend to be ROB's. Has anyone had a positive experience with one of those? Besides, giving your creditcard number seems worse than showing your ID to a provider.

Can you say paper trail? Why not get a cash advance on the credit card and pay cash? Just think of the transaction fees as cheap insurance.

I would never ever use a credit card. I wouldn't trust them not to overcharge or use the number another time.

Whenever I read that someone will accept a credit card that is a huge red flag for me. I would never do it because right away I would think they would be too expensive anyways. They would probably say well you can put it on a credit card. No thanks.

11. "Connections?????"
Sorry, the only connection that will get you a MERCHANT cc account is good credit, or a co-signer.

Watch how fast that shit will get yanked with enough complaints.

60$ for the rental and what?, 10-15% on each transaction?

A good MERCHANT rate is 1.75% and up.

"-.......itall-no,
but i know about this.

I don't normally carry allot of cash on me, so that creates a problem. If I draw cash on the CC or ATM, I get twenty questions from my SO. On the other hand, I do travel allot on a CC and have lots of charges each month. I spend a lot of time in the Seattle are working, away from home and pussy, so I practice the hobby on the nights it rains in Seattle. I have a few provides that I use and I pay them on the CC. I've had ZERO problems and the paper trail leads to a nondescript business expense. I've used a CC for over 10 years and yet had any problems. If I did, I would protest it to the CC company, not the police. Just think, it adds a new demention to your Dinners Club Card and I get free air miles to boot!

9. "same here"
Gents, I've used credit cards to pay the house at GG several times now, with no problems. I think that they have a lot more to lose than to gain by trying something as downright fraudulent as CC fraud.

As for paper trail, it's more of a problem for you married guys trying to explain it to the wife. As for me, I'll nail those suckers if they try to steal my money. They've been around a long time (successfully) and they don't need the hassle for their trouble...

Besides, just because I have the transaction on my credit card doesn't implicate me in ANY wrongdoing, anyway. Was anybody there to see what I paid for? Nope.

As for the unknown-quantity fly-by-night ROB agencies, well, that's a different story. Any place you can't trust with your credit card is a place that you probably can't trust with your cash, either!

10. "RE: same here"

Didn't a thread talk about this issue before?
Some AMP/agency/indie got busted and the cops called all the clients for investigation?

You can trust the well established MPs or indies since they usually want repeat business and they are there to stay.

Actually the whole credit card deal is a positive thing.
I personally don't know any ROB"s.And my guess is that there are alot fewer than there are.
Now I'm speaking of independent providers. From the best of my knowledge, Internet private providers are very discreet and the last thing that we would do is jeopardize our livelihood.
Using a credit card with an Indi is way safer than using one in a public establishment.I only say that in reference to what I read about LE making a bust and calling the customers that used their credit cards.
As far as percentage goes of what has to be paid out to the card company ,it's 20%.And of cource that means we'll just add 20% more to the card user. It has it's advantages and it's disadvantages.
Of course I'm only speaking from a male's point of veiw.
