"Direct L.A. to Cuba Flight?!!"
Friend of mine tells me there's now a direct flight from L.A. to Cuba. He travels alot and is usually accurate on travel packages.

Itwas my vague understanding that US/Cuba travel is illegal.

Any info as I heard Cuba has some of the best "shopping" in the world!

US citizens are allowed to travel to Cuba only for familiar reasons (for example, your father lived in Cuba and passed away.) Otherwise, you need to get permission from the State Department. Tourist travels are totally banned.

I hope it helps

Thanks for clearing it up. At least we can still get there through other countries though.

There are flights to Cuba direct from LA and Miami but they are charter flights and for legal travel only. That means like with a sponsored group or because you've been able to get a license.

I think there are a lot of Cubans in LA. Don't miss it. Go through Mexico, Toronto or the Bahamas. You can't beat it for the price.

What I have never understood about entering Cuba from another country is how you hide the fact you are a US citizen? If I fly in from Canada, how do I enter Cuba with only a US passport? Don't Canadian officials request a passport when leaving the country, and help the US of A by pointing out it is illegal for you to go their?

I went through the Bahamas and when I landed I went staight to Cubana Air. Why should any sovriegn country help the USA pull off sanctions that that sovriegn country does not agree with. The USA was just voted off some UN councile for human right(?) because the USA are/is asholes.

That is the great thing about other countries.

castro and the other cigar makers dont give a crap if US citizens visit their country. Only US policy makes it problem. In fact when you show a US passport at the cuban airport, they are kind enough not to stamp it, so there is no record of your entry into the country. I fly to cuba once a month...

havana is great. if you know where to go, you can always ALWAYS find delicious cuban pussy to satisfy your capitalistic american ass! The dollar is always strong there, but remember they are starving for GOODS...paper money as we know it, is not neccisarily the best means for getting what you want. I've convinced women in cuba with seemingly simple things like womens make-up, jewelry, name brand clothing...

I never thought anyone could top Che on Cuba knowledge, but you have some great info Newcummer - tell us more. I'd love to score several Cuban Chicas with a few pairs of Gap jeans, beanie babies, or a swatch or two.

Is all the best action in Havana?

13. "las tunas, cienfuego, trinidad,"
guantanamo... they are all beachy cities/towns... you have to really spend some time, visit the local areas an blend in before you can find where the pussy is. It's not like here, where there is a plethora of papers, websites, ads.... its all very discrete.. heck sometimes there is an indistinguishable line between simply casually picking up on a woman in public, and giving her gifts for a day or night of sex, and actually finding a "provider" and doing the same. Any single (well not alwauys!) looking woman in cuba is fair game..

What looks like poverty to an American is in reality a lack of mass manufactured consumer goods. One always has the option of trading consumer goods for pussy in Cienfuegos. Havana is a bit over priced in terms of hot chicas who want $50 per night. Havana is also a big dirty city. Cienfuegos is arguably the most beautiful town in Cuba. I like both Havana and Cienfuegos. I've never stayed anywhere else.

We ought to get a RB chartered trip together very soon I want to go back real bad.

Incredibly cheap. I paid $14 per night at the Lido hotel in Hanvana and $25 for a casa particular in Cienfeagos (acomodations are not great but as long as you have air cond it is ok.) The food is nasty put way cheap the beer is good and cheap and the pussy is very cheap. The bigest cost is getting there.
