   Does anyone know how I can load my XP office CD on my Laptop as well as my Desk Top? Otheer than to pay M/S another $400? any tricks??

one of the changes with XP is they made if VERY HARD to get around copy controls and any software, you can't even use the copy you have purchased on multiple CPU's

   Tell'em their @^%#^@ software crashed and they will have you a new set of key codes. I've done this twice...but will not push my luck.

This thread is much more appropriate in the Pool Hall...

The license still allows an individual to install the software package on ONE desktop PLUS one personal laptop. Just load the software on your laptop. During the activation sequence, give MS a call and explain the situation, and all should be fine.
